Added

• Video & audio previews. Deliverables aren't just documents anymore — screen recordings and narration play natively in the side panel and Artifacts. .mp4, .webm, .m4v, .mp3, .wav, .flac, .ogg, .m4a, .aac, and .opus are all supported.
• Analyst-grade workbooks. The excel-analysis skill was rebuilt end-to-end: live formulas that actually recalculate, styled ranges, properly titled charts, and a documentation sheet — every workbook ships the way an analyst would, not a pile of raw cells.

• Tidier Data tab. Grid columns now cap their width, so a long cell clips and scrolls horizontally Excel-style instead of stretching the whole panel.

Fixed

• Clean session starts. Permission switches, plugin notices, and setup plumbing no longer render as orphan rows above your opening prompt — the chat begins with you. The Trajectory tab still shows the complete system timeline.
• Smarter Workspace Write. Re-running a build inside your workspace no longer re-asks for overwrite approval every time. The fence stands down for in-workspace targets and still asks for anything outside the workspace.

Windows joins the pod + a whole new preview experience

• Windows support. The runtime bundle now builds and boots on Windows x64 — bwhale works out of the box, verified end-to-end in CI.
• Markdown previews. .md files render with full GitHub-flavored markdown — tables, code blocks, the works.
• Code previews. ~60 code/text/config formats open in a syntax-highlighted viewer with line gutter, copy, and collapse.
• Image zoom toolbar. Fit, 0.1×–8×, and 1:1 zoom for close inspection.
• Localized LibreOffice hints. English and 中文 guidance when docx/pptx fall back to text preview.

Changed

• Previews became a side panel. In-chat previews now open docked beside the conversation — the chat stays live while you inspect the file. The floating modal is gone.
• Oversized file previews (512 KB+) show a clear truncation notice instead of struggling.
